Alabama & Tennessee River Railway, LLC (ATN) is a short line railroad that operates over 120 miles of track from Birmingham, Alabama to the rail barge terminal at the Port of Guntersville. ATN offers direct rail and transload services in cities such as Birmingham, Woodlawn, Ragland, Gadsden, Albertville and Guntersville.
The railroad is also a direct link to Central and Northern Alabama commerce as it provides direct access to interstate highways such as I-59, I-65 and I-20. It currently provides five day service to customers within the manufacturing, food distribution, agriculture and metals recycling industries. ATN provides five day service and interchanges with CSXT at Boyles Yard in Birmingham, AL and with Norfolk Southern (NS) at Alabama City, AL.
PORT OF BROWNSVILLE
On the Southernmost tip of Texas, at the port of Brownsville, rails and road and ready workforce converge. Nearby 40,000 acres of Texas land stand ready for industrial development, while expanded drilling in Mexico’s adjacent Burgos Basin shale formation waits on the proper energy expertise. (Read more)
